Ideal location We had two nights stay while doing a York City break. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night, the food was good and good value. The breakfast was really good. (Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel)

QUIET, COMFORTABLE STAY Arrived an hour before the 3pm check in time however our room was ready for us. Check in was quick. Room 312 with walk in shower It was on the river side so was peaceful (Novotel York Centre Hotel)
