Another lovely stay in Ardfern This was our third trip to Galley of Lorne and as usual thoroughly enjoyed it. After a long day touring on motorbikes we were checked in straight away and although the bar didn’t open until 5, the very helpful lady on reception made sure we were settled well before then with a nice glass of wine We stayed in The Skye suite which was very comfortable. We had dinner in restaurant overlooking the loch which was very good Staff were very accommodating and made sure we had a very enjoyable time Will be back in the not too distant future

Beautiful location The location alone is a great reason to stay here. And ideal if you’re travelling with a pooch. Breakfast on the terrace watching ospreys was probably the highlight but all round good food and comfortable rooms make this the ideal getaway. Really friendly staff.

Top notch nosh, rooms, views and service The location is perfect, and a lot of work has clearly gone into making the Galley a first rate place to stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent too. Very fine porridge! The large extension in which we had our dinners was spectacular - large, bright and airy with a fabulous view down the loch. It complements the breakfast room, which was more snug and would be cosy in winter. A lively and well-stocked bar completes the experience.
