I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and it’s really lovely, good location for accessing Newcastle Centre without the hassle of staying in the middle of a busy city. Have also booked several stays in this hotel for our daughter, prior to her University Exams and this hotel was perfect for a young girl travelling alone. The staff are lovely, especially Oscar, who always goes above and beyond to ensure our daughter has a fabulous room, which is quiet for studying. Oscar is exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the Holiday Inn, very helpful, professional and understanding. I feel confident that the room booked will be perfect when I book this via Oscar’s. He is a credit to the IHG group, thank you so much.

This was our first stay at The Holiday Inn Jesmond and it definitely won’t be our last! Really impressed with everything from the friendly welcome, great bar service and food and very comfy and clean room, breakfast was lovely too, gorgeous place to eat 10/10!

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn, Jesmond, for two or three nights per week for a prolonged period of around 7 years due to work commitments and have found the staff and management to be friendly, helpful and caring. Mark, the Breakfast Chef, has been there for all the time I have been staying there, and even all through COVID when I was staying as an essential worker, he was cooking and serving up breakfasts himself to myself and other essential worker guests to take away to work with us. He also does the best poached eggs ever!! Gary, the Manager, Rian who is in charge of reservations, Nicola (whose job title I don't know but who is always bustling about with her pony tail swinging behind her), the reception staff and the breakfast staff are all also incredibly helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My working commitments in Newcastle have come to an end now and I feel very sad to be leaving behind everyone at the Holiday Inn which has been like my second home for years!
