One night stay 7th December 2024: Had a one night stay Wonderful reception by a lovely lady I think she had a polish accent She is a credit to the hotel. Lovely standard room with bath and shower Very comfy bed View across the pavilion gardens Breakfast Very nice but the temperature of the food needs to be improved. The male staff needs to improve his hospitality techniques He did not appear to be very well In general a very nice stay Will book again

I love this place!: I love this place! I have stayed four times this year - I just drive a few miles from my home town as a treat to myself. The history is second to none and this is why I stay. Yes, the floors are sloping, yes it could do with a refresh in parts, but it's a building that started its life in the 16th century so don't go expecting it to be something it's not. I was lucky enough to finally stay in Mary's Bower last night and it was perfect! I've always enjoyed the breakfasts but never stayed for dinner so can't comment on the food offering. Go with an open mind, and enjoy the history. If history isn't your thing, choose somewhere else.

Super Historic Hotel: Super quaint historic hotel bang central in this beautiful Spa town. Rooms steeped in character with 1st class bathrooms. The breakfast was also very good. Parking is available but you need to first check with the reception who kindly offer a 24 hour permit for around £6, dirt cheap if you ask me, check this at reception first before parking as there's a lot of restrictions around the sides of this hotel. I'd definitely stay here again and the staff are all extremely pleasant which is also a bonus.
