  I have been to this restaurant in the West end on many occasions and have never been let down by the quality of the food and the fantastic service. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The small plates are fantastic and a good selection on offer.

La Vita Spuntini’s house speciality is their pennette mia casa (pasta with chunks of chicken, broccoli, mushroom, garlic, cream and a hint of chilli), although other customer favourites include the Italian Scotch egg (Italian spicy sausage meat with egg, rolled with breadcrumbs then fried) and the porcetta (slow cooked pork belly served with a light sauce of Parma ham, garden peas and Mediterranean vegetables). Pizza lovers can also enjoy a classic margherita or opt for something a little different with La Vita’s pizza scozzese, which consists of spicy pepperoni sausage and Stornoway black pudding toppings.
