The Corinthian Club is on Ingram Street in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Once the headquarters of a bank, it is now a five floor entertainment complex with several bars, a club, private dining rooms, a casino and the jaw-dropping Teller’s Bar and Brasserie. A visually stunning venue, Teller’s features elaborate cornicing, amazing gold leaf work and a dazzling glass dome. Late opening hours mean that the party never seems to stop in The Corinthian Club.
Locally sourced, fresh and cooked to order, the food in Teller’s draws on global influences as well as home-grown flavours. From Stornoway oysters to langoustines via the shellfish platter and baked Scottish lobster, seafood lovers are well looked after.
Other treats include the handmade steak burger and a selection of 28 day aged Scotch beef steaks. More homely choices include the beer-battered haddock and chips or macaroni cheese with garlic bread.
To finish, Teller’s offers a number of dessert classics from apple tart tatin to wild berry crème brulée.
The Corinthian is located on Ingram Street in the Merchant City, a short walk from both Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations. There’s a taxi rank outside, pay parking on Glassford Street and numerous bus routes nearby.
