The staff went out of their way to be more than helpful with any request so much so that it began to feel like home after only a couple of days . We had our dog with us and she even had her own water bowl place setting beside our table for breakfast. The food was lovely and varied and I'd say very reasonably priced for the standard and first class presentation . We stayed in the Clarinda room which was very comfortable with views over the garden and a huge en-suite bathroom. All in all I'd recommend this boutique but very traditional hotel to anyone visiting Ayr

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would happily return. Access to green space beside the sea 5 minutes walk away and a short stroll to the town centre, dog friendly, great staff - what more do you need?

This was a cute little Hotel. It was old world charm meets an excellent level of service and a very warm welcome. The staff could not do enough for us and were so helpful. Our kids are on the spectrum and they helped an awful lot to make is comfortable for us all. The Bar also is sweet and the food excellent also, good value has to be said. The Hotel is situated in a lovely town and right near to the beach also, which was lovely.
