The most amazing stay at an amazing hotel in a magnificent location, staff were amazing, so happy and helpful. Food was outstanding! Best muscles and fish we have EVER had. Whole experience from start to finish was 5*. Would drive another 400 plus miles to stay again. Thankyou for the most amazing Christmas memories!

Stayed in Room 16 for 2 nights. Understaffed so waited a while to be checked in. Room requires updating but clean. TV not working (no signal) Advised staff. Came back from a walk to be told the member of staff couldnt gain access to the room & advised the key was stiff, therefore someone went back to see issue with TV. Had a drink in the bar, draught beer - pipes not working on brand my partner wanted. Advised we only had 3 channels on TV & best they could do. Dinner was nice but unfortunately steak pie was more fat/gristle & gravy then meat. Room is above the bar so when we went to bed the music was loud. Shower in the morning not powerful & couldnt turn the temp down as control was broken. The water was scalding hot. Major H&S issue. Room during the 2nd night, heating never came on so slept with socks, pjs & hoodie. Wanted to leave at 4.30am but wanted to advise staff in the morning when checking out of the issue with the heating. Advised and just received an apology. Unsure if it would be dealt with. Wont be back
