First Class Experience We have just thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay at Stanton House. The building is impressive, as is its country setting which affords the opportunity to walk in the expansive hotel grounds, or further afield around the lake and into Stanton Park itself. Thankfully we were blessed with fantastic weather, which served to emphasise the hotel’s appeal. Check-in was very quick and friendly and the Executive Room booked (308) had a nice outlook, was large, clean and comfortable, especially the enormous bed. One improvement perhaps would be a room safe. Our bathroom was also spacious and had a very big bath with an overhead shower, although a walk-in is our personal preference. We had breakfast each morning and did not experience any of the negative issues some reviewers have mentioned. A table was always available, the breakfast food offering whilst typical of UK hotels was of a good standing and always replenished promptly. In this regard Subu, a young Nepalese lady, merits recognition not only for her hard work (receiving guests, explaining the buffet, replenishing food AND clearing tables) but also for taking time to interact with guests in a friendly manner. We only had dinner in the hotel one evening. The restaurant was busy and we hadn’t booked but they kindly accommodated us and the food was good. In fact all the members of staff we had reason to speak to throughout our stay were always very helpful and are a credit to the hotel. Stanton House Hotel is a great base for exploring the interesting attractions of Wiltshire, and even beyond, and we would be very happy to stay there again in the future.

2 weeks ago Weekend Away Beautiful place , lovely food , clean gorgeous room .Helpful friendly staff .View from bedroom was very pretty looking over fields with lots of lambs .Carnt wait to go again for our wedding anniversary .Lots of things to do out and about not to far .

Beautiful hotel and grounds We have just spent a long weekend here. Would highly recommend. Beautiful setting with views over the lake and Stanton Park. We were lucky enough to visit in Lambing season and observe all the sheep and lamb wandering the grounds surrounding Stanton House Hotel. Spacious rooms, wonderful food in the breakfast and dining restaurant, friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again in the future
