(Hotel Klettur) Very good value for the money I booked this hotel as part of a flight, stay, and tour package from Iceland airlines. I was hesitant at first because the photos of the rooms and hotel looked very basic. However, I was pleasantly surprised as my room with a king-sized bed was huge. The hotel is not luxurious, but it is clean, modern, and convenient. The Flybus hotel shuttle dropped us off and picked us up on schedule, and the hotel staff answered all of our questions an arranged taxi services upon request. The hotel is within a ten minute walk of the large public swimming/thermal bath in the center of the city, as well as many restaurants and shops. Even though this may be considered a budget hotel, I was very comfortable here as were my friends who joined me.

(Hotel Klettur) nice hotel and location We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our tour and another night at the end, we were able to store some luggage whilst away which was very helpful. hotel is in a great location close to the main downtown area, there is a bar onsite but no restaurant. there is a supermarket just around the corner rooms were nice, clean and comfortable staff were friendly and attentive good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast Hotel seems to be on the route for tours and pick up to the main bus station i would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again

(Hotel Reykjavik Grand) Great hotel in great location Great experience and very friendly people. In addition we experienced northern lights in front of the hotel. Everything is reachable by walk and the traffic cone ruins by public busses are nearby the hotel. We had a very good time there and would recommend the hotel restaurant and cocktail bar.
