Tossa de Mer is rich in history as it is packed with beaches. A must-do on your visit to explore the Muralles de Tossa de Mar. This 12th century castle boasts fortification walls, towers and courtyards. Step back in time at Muralles de la Vila Vella, a quaint village surrounded by a medieval wall! Just behind your hotel are the Roman ruins, which are a must-see! We’d recommend a walking tour of the town to really get to grips with its history and culture.

Great Place To Stay The Hotel was very good only the food prevented me giving it 5 stars. The food was OK but this wouldn't wouldn't prevent me from returning. The bar, entertainment, spa, pool area reception etc were first class. The Location is very good being close to the town and beach. Even the uphill walk back from the town isn't as bad as many people think you get used to it.

Amazing comfy beds Extremely comfortable beds, the best I've ever found. All the staff were lovely and very efficient. Great bar prices and reasonable priced wine in the restaurant. Good food with plenty of choice. Only negative was hardly any sun on the pool area & it was full of mosquitoes after an overnight downpour

Lovely fortnight at The Neptuno. Hadn't been to this part of Spain for years, and absolutely loved it. We booked this hotel based on both price and reviews and it didn't disappoint. Very traditional, interesting, quirky, comfortable hotel. Half board food was great, fresh, plentiful, good quality and choice and drinks were very reasonably priced. Very good quality entertainment 2 nights a week. All the hotel is well equipped, comfortable and very clean. You had to pay extra for spa, fridge and safe. The pool was cold but we swam in the sea every day so not a problem for us. At first we thought 8pm was too late for start of dinner but we soon adjusted to this. There is a dog rescue centre nearby where you can walk dogs for an hour, thanks Carme for arranging this, we did this twice, and for helping with other stuff. For the price we paid it was amazing value.
