Directions for a good harvest

• Start with 6-7 inches (15-17cm) of compost in the base of your ‘Grow-Pod.’ Place the tubers on top and half-fill the pot with compost. Keep horticultural fleece ready for cold nights.
• As green shoots appear, cover them with more compost, water, and feed. Repeat until the compost reaches the top of the pod.
• First and second earlies grow faster than maincrop potatoes and need more frequent watering. In warm containers, earliest can mature 2 weeks sooner than in the ground.
• New potatoes taste best fresh! Harvest only what you need for one meal and let the rest continue growing.
