Balbir’s is a spacious Indian restaurant in the West End, close to Kelvingrove Park. The kitchen includes a diverse range of chefs from India, Nepal and Pakistan, which might be why it has earned itself a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

With this Big Deal, two people will be greeted with an arrival glass of fizz before tucking into a delicious Thali spread of four half portions of curry and two sides each. It’s available Sunday to Friday until the end of March.

Essentially, you get to choose any four half portions of curries from the menu, with a £2 supplement for fish or prawn dishes.

This means that you can combine old favourites with new flavours. Choices range from Goan chicken curry with coconut; aromatic lamb rogan josh, or a hot chicken chettinad with black pepper & red chillies.

Veggies can tuck into choices like rich paneer butter masala, mixed vegetable bhoona or tarka daal.
