Located under the Armani store in Spinningfields is Australasia, a restaurant which serves modern Australian food with Indonesian and Japanese influences. Australasia is a bright, modern space decorated in neutral tones. Guests have the option of choosing several smaller dishes or the traditional starter and main. The menu is extensive, with large sushi, tempura and grill sections, as well as main courses such as Chilean seabass with prawns in coconut and Tom Yam broth, and crispy suckling pork belly with a pineapple curry. The desserts are equally as inventive, with options including lychee and ginger panna cotta kaffir lime brulee with pineballe sorbet. There is also a large selection of sake.
