Smartly stylish with a mix of banquet and comfy bucket seating, designer lighting and contemporary art, it also benefits from great views over the landscaped grounds and water features of the park. Bought and prepared from fresh each day, the food is as modern as the Avondale’s looks. Starters like the smoked salmon and cucumber gateau are thrillingly presented while hearty appetites might appreciate rib-sticking dishes like the ribeye steak which comes with thick cut chips, Portobello mushroom and plum tomatoes as well as a choice of three sauces. If you have a sweet tooth then try to leave space to tackle the sticky toffee pudding complete with caramel ice cream and toffee sauce.
