Excellent!

The service was excellent, always some to attend to our needs. Requested a table upstairs which we got, we asked to move to a window seat after our starter which was no problem. The food was amazing, I asked for chicken instead of lamb again no hassle at all. Fantastic value for money, cannot wait to return. Love the relaxed atmosphere.

Charming Indian restaurant on Byres Road

Little Curry House situated on Byres Road in Glasgow West End is a charming ‘wee’ Indian restaurant with a contemporary feel. It offers diners a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and a calming ambiance, allowing customers to take time out and enjoy their meal.

Open kitchen

Diners at the Little Curry House can enjoy the spectacle of watching their meal being cooked in the restaurant’s open kitchen. Unlike many Indian restaurants, the menu has been refined to offer a limited selection of Indian dishes that still have a wide appeal.

There are veggie, fish and meat options all cooked freshly to order. Starters include prawn and salmon poori, aubergine fritters with mushrooms and chicken tikka and potato pakora.

Highlights from the main courses would be the chicken tikka makni with walnuts, fish of the day simmered with whole spices, lentils and fennel and chana dall and kdoo – dall cooked with carmelised onions and Indian vegetables.

West End transport links

Little Curry House is close to Partick and Hillhead and within walking distance of Kelvinhall and Hillhead subway stations. Limited on street parking is available. Kelvingrove art gallery and Glasgow University are both nearby.
