We asked for 2 highchairs (weeks in advance) & again when we arrived. We were told they didn’t have any that weren't being used. We were in there for 2 hours and the ‘used’ highchairs were empty the whole time. Stressfull lunch with toddler twins not contained.

I came to Lucali on Saturday 4th November with five friends, only two of us had been before. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant young man who continued to be efficient but friendly during our lunch time. We were also served by a lady, I think she is may be a manager. She was also extremely pleasant and we chatted as she served our drinks.
The lunch menu choices were varied and everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed what they chose. It was also excellent value. Lucali has a welcoming atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it if you haven’t yet experienced it.

Lucali by Andiamo serves up traditional and contemporary Italian dishes in an elegantly refurbished, spotlit dining space. Fresh pasta, Neapolitan pizza and classic cocktails are the order of the day.
Also available are varied breakfast and brunch menus, plus a children’s selection.
As well as pasta favourites like traditional carbonara, pumpkin ravioli and Italian sausage rigatoni, you can try out a number of house specials. These include thick and delicious bucatini pasta drenched in Lucail’s signature ragu, or a special foil-baked fusilli with chicken, pancetta, mushrooms, tomato, cream and mozzarella. You can also enjoy a taste of Scotland with the Loch Level crab linguini. Highlights of the pizza selection include marinated chicken with hot spices & zesty Almalfi lemon; chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables with fresh garlic, and smoked pancetta with fresh
chilli & parsley. Other mains include veal or chicken Milanese; fresh fillet of sea bass with a king prawn skewer, and the 9oz sirloin of 28-day dry-aged prime Scottish beef.
Or why not enjoy a leisurely morning or afternoon meal with a Mediterranean twist? Choices include everything from full Scottish breakfasts to pancake stacks to Nutella specials. You can also try out a rustic Italian breakfast, made extra authentic with eggs imported from Italy.
Brunch choices include a garlic sourdough stack with Mediterranean roasted vegetables; Italian-style eggs frittata with Parmesan & spaghetti, or the popular half & half pizza and pasta board.
Antipasti dishes are also available for brunch and include fresh Scottish mussels with garlic bread and a Bloody Mary king prawn cocktail with crostino.
The restaurant is on Fenwick Road, right across from Giffnock train station and a 20-minute drive from Glasgow city centre. Eastwood Park Theatre & Gallery is nearby, as is Linn Park, Rouken Glen Country Park and various golf courses.
