Babbo did not honour the 5pm deal we had booked...it was meant to be a set menu at a set price. No alternative offered or anything complimentary to compensate.
We were with friends from England and only had a few hour window so we still stayed for food (as didn't have time to head off elsewhere)...but we were disappointed they never even offered us a complimentary drink or anything.
The food we got was nice, and the waiting staff nice, but it was at full price do we were out of pocket.

Located at Eastwood Toll in Giffnock, Babbo is a Italian restaurant housed in a converted bank. Its exposed stone walls, plush leather booths and marble bar elevates its status from neighbourhood restaurant to stylish dining destination. However, the service is warm and friendly and Babbo welcomes everyone from families to couples to groups of friends.
Babbo’s extensive menu focuses on Italian dishes, with forays into other parts of the globe. The a la carte is divided into different sections: starters, salads, mains, pastas, pizzas, grills and burgers, breads and desserts.
All the Italian favourites are offered, including penne arrabbiata, lasagna, spaghetti carbonara and chicken Milanese, alongside dishes from other nationalities like Sri Lankan curry and lamb kofta. There’s also a thread of Scottish fusion running through the menu in dishes such as haggis ravioli and haggis samosa.
Babbo places a strong emphasis on using the best, freshest ingredients and their menus change with the seasons.
