Established Indian restaurant in south side

A mainstay of Indian cuisine in Glasgow’s south side since 1991, Ashoka provides great Indian cuisine in a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. The restaurant is located on Clarkston Road and serves traditional Indian dishes in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Child-friendly with highchairs and a children’s menu available, Ashoka Southside has stylish look and a combination of booths and tables where patrons can comfortably enjoy their meals.

Friendly service & freshly prepared Indian cuisine

The friendly team at Ashoka Southside aim to provide a memorable dining experience, from the efficient service in the restaurant to the skilful chefs preparing delicious dishes in the kitchen. One recommended dish at Ashoka Southside is the jhinga tandoori (plump Pacific prawns marinated in exotic Punjabi spices), with other customer favourites including machi amritsari (delicately spiced fillet of white fish, lightly fried in a feather-like batter) and Bombay bakra (diced lamb simmered Karahi style with sliced onions, green peppers, tomatoes, chillies, kali jeera spice & fresh spinach leaves).
