  Love the atmosphere and the beers

  This pub has a great atmosphere and I go in often for beers with friends. The food also does not fail to disappoint 😀

City centre craft beer bar and smokehouse

The Raven is a welcoming bar and restaurant on Renfield Street in Glasgow city centre. The stripped back decor at The Raven allows customers to focus on the stuff that really matters: smokehouse menus, craft beers and all the sport you could wish for over eleven big screens. The ever changing roster of craft and cask ales is a real draw.

BBQ cooked low and slow

The smokehouse chefs at The Raven specialise in cooking meat low and slow. This means melting ribs, succulent pulled pork, tender beef brisket and savoury wings. Added to this, there are hot sandwiches – think Po’ Boys and grilled cheese – burgers, burrito bowls and hot dogs. As well as the American classics, there is a selection of traditional bar food favourites. The fish and chips feature IPA Joker batter while the mac and cheese can be upgraded with beef brisket, honey glazed pulled gammon or BBQ pulled pork.

The menu is a meat-lover’s dream but there are several veggies choices. Think nachos, halloumi and pepper skewers, bean burgers and falafel wraps.

Glasgow city centre attractions and transport

The Raven is on Renfield Street, a five minute walk from Queen Street or Central train stations. There are several pay car parks nearby and limited on-street parking. From the Buchanan Galleries to the Gallery of Modern Art, Cineworld and The Pavilion, there are numerous cultural hotspots and shopping opportunities within easy walking reach of The Raven.
