I had booked for 6 to attend for my friends birthday. I had to chop and change a couple of times and ended up with 11 there. The staff were great, atmosphere really nice and the afternoon tea.....lovely.

Situated within Hotel Indigo, on Waterloo Street, the restaurant offers diners a stylish, city centre setting in to enjoy inventive, modern European cooking.
If the menu takes it inspiration from abroad, the decor is thoroughly Scottish thanks to the numerous portraits of famous Scots which hang from the walls. Massive lampshades and colourful booths complete the attention-grabbing interior at the Limelight Bar & Grill.
Typical starters might be the West Coast mussels steamed in white wine or the terrine of Ayrshire ham hough which is served with foie gras. When game is in season, the main courses might include roasted red leg partridge. Fish lovers may prefer the salt hake served with squid Provencale or the beer-battered fish with hand-cut chips. With its range of steaks chops and cutlets, the grill section of the menu is always popular with guests. For a lighter option, there are dishes such as the grilled lemon sole with wilted spinach and buttered new potatoes.
Cleverly, the desserts include the option of six different pudding pots to share. Why taste one dessert when you can try six?
Hotel Indigo is a five minute walk from Glasgow’s Central station and a fifteen minute walk from Glasgow Queen street train station and Buchanan bus station. The hotel is well served by taxis and Q-Park car park is directly opposite.
