Angel is one of the busiest areas in North London and has a ton of things to see and do. Balham is a lively district full of great bars and restaurants, independent shops and all your usual staples. On top of that, Balham is also home to some of the best green spaces to take a walk in London with a host of great parks tucked behind the sleepy suburb houses.

Whether you’re in Beaconsfield for the day or a slightly longer stay, there are loads of things to do on your own or as a family. Brentwood Cathedral provides one of the town’s most prominent landmarks while the Gruffalo Trail provides the perfect activity to do as a family!

One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. From the iconic Electric Avenue to the Ritzy Cinema, there are loads of attractions, not to mention a huge choice of cafes and restaurants. The area still celebrates its Caribbean roots and there is music playing regularly across Brixton Market along with the intoxicating aromas of the street food, as well as the indoor village of Pop Brixton. High Elms Country Park provides gorgeous, green gardens and is home to a golf course for those handy with a club, while Priory Gardens combines beautiful surroundings and woodland wildlife with a children’s play area. Christmas Tree Farm is perfect for a family trip out where you can even feed the animals while the man-made tunnels and guided tours through Chislehurst Caves will appease the most avid of explorers.
