After a complete rebrand, Cross & Corner on Canonmills is winning a new and loyal following as a contemporary craft beer bar with a serious food menu. The craft beers, many of them local, and a wide range of gin are big attractions but the kitchen plays its part ably. Dishes range from the simple – like the buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup served at breakfast – to main courses like the pan-seared pork fillet wrapped in Parma ham and served with sautéed new potatoes and creamed leeks.
