The Truin Restaurant at The Marine Hotel in Troon offers relaxed and elegant dining with a sweeping Ayrshire coastline view. Inside, you will find a restaurant bathed in light, with pristine white tablecloths and a mellow colour scheme of browns and golds. The Truin serves up hearty Scottish cuisine with a European twist. Menus can change, but sample starters might include the chicken liver parfait, the Scottish salmon bon bons and the haggis, neeps & tatties.
Mains might include steak pie with creamed potatoes and buttered carrots, pan fried chicken with sautéed garlic mushrooms and baby potatoes, and mussels with white wine and garlic cream. Steaks are all sourced from the finest Scottish Beef Cattle and are aged for a minimum of thirty days. Choices include an eight ounce Sirloin.

It is around a forty minute drive from Glasgow and under two hours from Edinburgh, so you could dine here while making a day of it on the Ayrshire coast.
