    Consistently great.

We have visited Gaucho a few times now and we have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and great value. We love the sharing steaks and they are always cooked to perfection. The staff are all lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing and excellent value for money. Can not recommend this place highly enough. I also called them to add on extra things as it was for a special occasion. We arrived to a lovely card and glass of champagne all set up for us.

South American steak in Glasgow city centre

This Argentinian-themed grill spot is part of a successful restaurant family that has been going strong since the 90s. Taking its name from South America’s version of cowboys, Gaucho specialises in serving up real Argentinian beef. More specifically, their beef comes from premium Black Angus cattle, bred in Argentina at a hand-selected farm.

As well as burgers, seafood, pastas and empanadas (Argentina’s take on a pie) Gaucho offers various different cuts of steak. Wash it all down with the largest selection of Argentinian wines outside of the country.

Sustainable steaks, special cuts and sharing dishes

Diners can feast on favourites like ribeye, sirloin, fillet or rump, try out a speciality choice such as the spiral-cut Tira De Ancho, or share a chateaubriand. Various marinades are also available.

If you would like to get a feel of the different steak styles opt for the Gaucho Sampler, a hefty 1.2 kilo selection of four different cuts designed for sharing. The restaurant’s ‘Sunday Sessions’ feature never-ending roasts with three different joints of meat and a backdrop of live music.

Veggie and vegan options are also available, including a tomato & goats curd rigatoni.
