Description

Located in Kyleakin, the recently refurbished Isle of Skye Guest House has a unique location. It’s one of the very first stop-offs after the Skye Bridge, as well as being overlooked by the magnificent Sgurr na Coinnich mountain range.

A rich history with contemporary comforts

Built by an army general in 1912 as convalescence home for World War Two personnel, the house now is a haven of relaxation for guests enjoying the delights of Skye.

The Guesthouse has nine main house bedrooms and six garden rooms offering flexible accommodation for a relaxing stay. Garden rooms are just a stone’s throw from the main house.

Available in single, twin, king and family room formations, all rooms are well appointed and freshly decorated.

All rooms are en suite with power showers and locally sourced toiletries.

A refreshing start and warm welcome

A light breakfast is included in your room including cereals, yoghurts, tea and coffee.

Parking is free and residents have access to the guest open lounge area.

The guesthouse is dog friendly with designated dog friendly stays available in the garden rooms.

The Isle of Skye Guesthouse gives you the chance to experience the best of Skye, including hiking the fairy glen, dipping your toes into the fairy pools, going on a glass-bottomed boat tour and much more.
