The Bùlas Bar and Bistro at The Ballachulish Hotel have a stylish contemporary atmosphere and the kitchen prepares daily changing menus which make the most of seasonal, local produce. Signature dishes are served in a bùlas, or traditional Highland pot. Popular dishes include the haggis-stuffed Balmoral chicken, served with a whisky sauce; the Highlander’s cottage pie and the grilled salmon with herby potatoes. Live background entertainment is provided on many weekends but the lochside views may make it tricky to give the musicians your full attention. Naturally, a wide range of single malts is on offer in the bar.

Spa and sauna in West Highlands

Guests at The Ballachulish Hotel are welcome to use the facilities at the spa and leisure centre in nearby sister West Highlands hotel, The Isles of Glencoe. As well as a gym room, the centre has a twelve meter swimming pool with a hydro seat and a bio-sauna and a wading pool for children.

Free golf is also offered to guests at the nearby 9 hole Dragon’s Tooth Golf Club. Clubs can be hired.
