Description

Located on Bath Street, in the heart of the city, Abode Glasgow is a stylish, contemporary hotel set in a three storey, Edwardian townhouse. The holder of four AA Gold stars, it is a listed building with a colourful history. It was the childhood home of the first Scottish-born Prime Minister and later became the HQ for the Corporation of Education. Many of its unique features – cage lift, stained glass windows and lion rampant etchings on the walls – date from this period.

While the period features give Abode Glasgow a vintage charm, the hotel’s amenities lean much more towards the contemporary than the traditional. Think WiFi, Vi-Spring beds and modern ensuite bathrooms. Distinctive Adrian McMurchie prints of Glasgow’s architecture underline the fact that this property is not an anonymous corporate hotel; it is rooted in the fabric of Glasgow.

The city centre address makes Abode Glasgow perfect for exploring all the bars, restaurants, shopping and music venues that give Glasgow such a vibrant ambience
