Located on Bath Street, in the heart of the city, Abode Glasgow is a stylish, contemporary hotel set in a three storey, Edwardian townhouse. The holder of four AA Gold stars, it is a listed building with a colourful history. It was the childhood home of the first Scottish-born Prime Minister and later became the HQ for the Corporation of Education. Many of its unique features – cage lift, stained glass windows and lion rampant etchings on the walls – date from this period.

Performance spaces such as the King’s, Pavilion, CCA and Royal Concert Hall are a short stroll while major attractions such as Kelvingrove Gallery and Museum are a fifteen minute walk or five minute taxi. Major shopping centres such as Buchanan Street and Argyll Street are within easy walking distance – even if you have a dozen bags attached.

There is a pay car park across the road from the hotel. Both Queen Street and Central train stations are a ten minute walk. A ten minute taxi will reach concert and conference venues such as The Hydro and SEC. A twenty minute taxi will reach Glasgow airport.
